I was always memorised by watching my grandmother prepare to go to meet her lady friends or their famous luncheons donned in their finest complete with hats. A couple of hours later here she would come back, only to reappear in her casual slacks and button down blouse ready for the rest of the day. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because it is hand painted, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating silver leaf wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box!
